onemoment-jazz is a jazz trio from Frankfurt am Main with their own compositions. In search of the ideal jazz melody, the band combines jazz-rock with elements of Latin, Oriental and modern jazz and embeds catchy melodic themes in rhythmic-groovy arrangements, garnished with artful solos of all instruments. These are concertante, playful, groovy, dramatic, melodic and appeal to both the seasoned jazz fan and the jazz novice. The open arrangements and expressive soundscapes of onemoment-jazz's melodic compositions are made to be combined with recited poetry. Radio producer Volker Rebell has gained a lot of experience in the field of song lyrics in his broadcasts, especially in translating important song texts of important song authors. In the Jazz & Lyric program with one moment-jazz he recites his own lyrical texts.
