Curtains had the gold edge, the general made everything clean, my Bac, your Bac, our Bac was there for all of us, an ugly old man named "Uncle Didtmeyer" seduced defenseless children into drinking orange juice! Every German child had a BMX or Bonanza bike, and on TV came "Those Drombuschs". A desperate attempt to establish Witta Pohl and Günter Strack as Hessian babbling sex gods. And the fashionable man was the heartthrob of all housewives! He had muscles like the White Giant, a bald head like Meister Proper, a jacket like Miami Vice and could say "Uh" like Boris Becker! And musically it went really round: The new German wave also meant "New men need the country", Udo Lindenberg sat in the "Special train to Pankow", there was also ABBA, the SPIDER MURPHY GANG, JÜRGEN VON DER LIPPE and MIKE KRÜGER with the "Nipple Song".

But the old guard was also still active: Udo Jürgens, Howard Carpendale or Roland Kaiser were still the stars of the hit parades. With us there's the party to go with it! Cheerfully improvised and guaranteed to sing along! Pure fun!
