Under director Sarah Kortmann, the story of young Werther, based on Johann Wolfang Goethe, is retold here. A young man without a foothold, full of unfulfilled longings in search of an idealized love. His emotional states alternate between extremes. From exuberance and deep gratitude for the encounter with the beloved person to ever stronger contempt and self-destruction. A story, as it also happens today in countless variations, around us. In short scenes, between absurdity and comedy, the tragedy of the public celebration of a suicide is told.
