Art is the place and MOMEM are thrilled to bring Meftah, one of Detroit's most up and coming DJ's and producers, from the circle of US House producer Theo Parrish, to Techno City Frankfurt for his German debut at MOMEM.
Omar Meftah, better known as "Meftah", is a Detroit based producer, DJ and founder of Musha Publishing. A multi-instrumentalist and beatmaker, his work spans multiple genres and embodies these 'Sounds of the Diaspora,' a term Meftah often uses to convey his universal relationship with music.
In 2020, he released his debut EP "Information Travels Through" (AOM001), launching his Musha Publishing label and creating his own distinctive sound in the prestigious Detroit music scene.
In addition to his solo releases, Meftah also serves as co-producer for Amp Fiddler's "Keep Coming" remixes on Moodymann's Mahogani Music (2019), provided instrumentation for Black Noise's 'OBLIVION' album on Earl Sweatshirt's Tan Cressida Records (2020), and can be heard on DJ Kicks from !K7 Records: Theo Parrish (2022).
