Organ Matinée - at Frankfurt Cathedral - 2for1 tickets
The monthly 30-minute organ matinées at lunchtime in the Kaiserdom have become firmly established in Frankfurt's musical calendar. Andreas Köhs, cantor of the Evangelical Lutheran Dreikönigsgemeinde, plays on the cathedral organ with its 116 stops and approximately 9000 pipes, and thus the largest organ system in Hesse. The program includes the works of Alexandre Guilmant (4th Sonata in D minor, op. 61), Georg Muffat (Passacaglia) and Louis Vierne (Allegro from Symphony No. 4 in G minor, op. 32) plays.
