Four women meet at the airport who have two things in common: Their flight to New York is delayed AND they are all going through menopause or about to.

At first glance, the four ladies seem like they couldn't be more different, but hot flashes, panic attacks, insomnia and uncontrollable emotional outbursts quickly create a bond among them. With a lot of tongue-in-cheek and without false inhibitions, the "Four Ladies in Hormone Rush" lament each other's suffering to legendary pop and rock songs from the 70s to the 90s with new German lyrics. Here the taboo subject of menopause becomes a comedic-musical fireworks of the extra class for all directly and indirectly affected, for all former, future and their relatives.
