Villa Rothschild invites you to the "Poetry & Dinner" series of events to mark the 75th anniversary of the 1949 Basic Law. The evenings will be a tribute to freedom of speech and art - in the hope that they will build bridges from the past to the present, to ourselves and to each other. A three-course menu will be served, while cabaret artist René Sydow will serve up a piece from his program "In ganzen Sätzen" between the main courses and dessert.

It could leave you speechless: the old moan, the young tweet, the woken genders, the assis proll, the right divides, the left too. Only the smart ones have fallen silent. That's over now! Germany's most eloquent cabaret artist is now speaking out about what is obscured, hushed up and talked about in our language and society. Where others blather, he talks straight. Where others babble, he states the facts. Instead of blah-blah, there are thoughts. Instead of larifari: sense. And when the audience asks: "Is it okay to say it like that?", the cabaret artist answers: "Yes, but only in full sentences."
